This 8 days Primates track & wildlife tours features gorilla tracking as the main highlight of the safari. You visit the mountain gorillas in Bwindi national park there are over 400 mountain gorillas recorded in this park compared to the 604 mountain Gorillas in the Virunga massive. It also features Chimpanzee tracking in kibale forest national park that is known to be the primate capital of the world with over 13 primate species namely chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red colobus, L’hoest monkey, blue monkey and vervet monkeys among others. Over 1400 chimpanzees are found here.
It also features a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park the world’s biodiversity wildlife sanctuary with tree climbing lions, leopards, buffalos among others the park lies on the floor of the rift valley and is also a habitat for forests, swamps, lakes, rivers, savannah woodland, open savanna grassland, crater lakes and the rwenzori mountains is seen at the background. You shall have a game drive here for the search of game and a boat ride on kazinga channel where you shall have many opportunities of viewing Hippos, elephants, waterbucks, cape buffalos, crocodiles, over 600 bird species are recorded in this park.

Day 1 : Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon Arrival at Entebbe international Airport you shall be welcomed by our company guide who will then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at papyrus Guesthouse
Day 2 : transfer to Kibale National park
After your breakfast you shall embark on driving to kibale National Park along the way you shall have an opportunity to visit the tea plantations. Have lunch in fort portal and in the afternoon you arrive your lodge. Overnight at Chimpanzee forest guesthouse.
Day 3 : chimpanzee tracking –visit the community
In the morning after breakfast you shall drive to the visitor center for briefing before commencing tracking at 8:30 am. You shall look for chimps high in the trees. Kibale is reputated to have the highest concentration of primates. 13 primate species are got here. You will be accompanied by a ranger guide who will tell you all the interesting things about chimpanzees our closest relatives. In the afternoon you shall visit the community you shall have first hand experience about their daily lives . you shall visit the traditional healer, find out how coffee is made locally or visit a school. Overnight at chimpanzee forest guesthouse.
Day 4 : transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast you shall proceed to queen Elizabeth National Park driving along the Rwenzori mountains which is known to be the world famous national park with the highest biodiversity of wildlife crossing the equator along the way. You shall undertake a game drive in the evening. Overnight at bush lodge.
Day 5 : queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast you shall have a game drive in the kasenyi Area to look for lions, leopards and other wildlife like Uganda kob, buffalo, Elephant and bird species. Queen Elizabeth has over 600 bird species that have been recorded to be in this park. Afternoon you shall have a wonderful game drive on kazinga channel home of one of the largest concentration hippopotamus as well as herds of elephants, buffaloes and other wildlife that come to drink water at the channel. The channel also attracts a tremendous variety of bird species including the African fish eagle, African jacana, cormorant, pelicans kingfisher species and many more. Overnight at bush lodge .
Day 6 : Queen Elizabeth –Bwindi National Park
After breakfast you shall depart from queen Elizabeth Park and proceed to Bwindi national park that is known to be the home of the rare mountain gorillas. You shall pass via ishasha where you shall have a game drive to look for the tree climbing lions. Only here do the lions have the habit of climbing fig trees. Overnight at silverback lodge
Day 7 : Gorilla tracking -Bwindi National park
This morning you shall wake up very early to prepare for the upcoming gorilla tracking. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you all about the flora and fauna of the park but most importantly about the mountain gorillas. You shall carry some necessary equipments with you like bottled water, packed lunch, rain gears , binoculars, sunscreen, insect repellants and good trekking shoes. Tracking is tedious so you need to be physically fit to enjoy this experience. Overnight at silverback lodge .
Day 8 : transfer to kampala and departure
After breakfast you shall leave Bwindi and proceed to kampala driving along the equator along the way. In the evening you shall reach Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
